Ms. Melodie, born Ramona Parker (née Scott) on March 21, 1969, sadly passed away on July 17, 2012. As an exceptional American emcee, she was well-known for her affiliations with KRS-One’s collective Boogie Down Productions (BDP). Ms. Melodie’s influence in the hip-hop community was significant, thanks in large part to her versatile skills and strong associations with BDP.
