KD’s Craft Beer Run | Goatweek Bay

SALUD! Every year, my closest friends and I get together to celebrate friendship, good times, and those that have passed and unfortunately are no longer with us. We’ve celebrated in Louisville, Cincinnati, Portland, L.A., Las Vegas, the Bahamas, Charlotte, Toronto, & Puerto Rico to name a few.
This year, because three of us pretty recently moved to the Tampa Bay area, we decided that “Goatweek Bay” was a must! Long story short, during Goatweek “we just chill out, post up, grab a bite, shoot the shit, sip somethin’…” We keep it pretty stress free and really don’t put too much on the agenda. Most importantly, we laugh and crack jokes NONSTOP – it’s a great time! Now, keep in mind, Goatweek is a safe space for everyone BUT… NOBODY’S SAFE and you most definitely will get talked about at some point during Goatweek! It sincerely comes from a place of love and friendship so you’ll find yourself not only laughing at everyone but yourself as well. The jokes even continue on our group texts! For real for real, it’s such a great time with friends (brothers actually) and I wanted to take a second to share it with y’all…
This year:
- we hit up Summerfield Crossings Golf Club
- peeped the Wu-Tang and Nas Concert at the MidFlorida Credit Union Ampitheatre
- grabbed some good food at Sal Y Mar, Oxford Exchange, and Osteria Natalina
- hopped over to the St. Pete area and hit up Ferg’s, Tiki Docks and Teak for cocktails, caught some live music and cigars at Ruby’s Elixir, then pulled up to The Birchwood Rooftop for a view of the St. Pete Pier
- rolled over to Caddy’s at Treasure Island to watch Tennessee beat the Gators
- and caught some NFL action and smoked a few cigars at Grand Cathedral Cigar Lounge…
Just like all of Goatweek celebrations, we enjoy delicious craft beer and want to thank the breweries that contributed to the festivities this year!
