SALUD! First and foremost, I’m sincerely happy to be back in my hometown – Nashville, TN aka Music City! Special shout to the Fisk Jubilee Singers for being the reason Nashville was originally called as such.
In any case, I had a chance to pop by one of my favorite spots while at the “crib” – Southern Grist Brewing Company! As always, I thoroughly enjoyed myself! A couple of my closest friends, (Omaràn Lee and Brian Carter) came to hang out and grab a bite with me – it’s always good to catch up!
Also, I’d almost forgotten about SGBC’s new location out East on Douglas Ave. This is a dope space with a couple patios and a solid kitchen. I had the pleasure of catching their “Ramen Tuesday” menu, which I highly recommend along with their brew! I often credit SGBC with challenging and stretching my beer pallet because they not only make great beer, they’re known for taking risks with their offerings and for always providing a top-shelf experience!
