KD’s Craft Beer Run | Funky Buddha Brewery

SALUD! Funky Buddha Brewery is one of the OG spots in Fort Lauderdale I typically hit up when I’m in the area. This is another one that my brother, Hashim, highly recommended I hit up whenever I could. So I did – and I thoroughly enjoyed myself and always do!

FB has a couple locations but I wound up going to the Oakland Park location. I usually stay close to the downtown area, and Oakland Park is like 10-15 minutes away, so it is what it is. One of these days I’ll get over to their taproom in Sunrise, FL, though. I usually have one of their IPAs or Barrel-Aged Stouts, which are always solid, but one thing my brother failed to mention was their food menu. I’ve now visited a handful of times and I always get their Cuban sandwich, extra pickles, and fries – TOP! SHELF! SITUATION! Thanks to these good folks for having me, for their great customer service, and for always showing me a good time… Cheers!
